JOUER COSMETICS - Glow Palette (Mermaid Ltd Edition)

 If you love all things shiny and mermaid, you need this palette. This is the Jouer cosmetics mermaid glow palette and it's seriously giving me life ! This little beauty contains 5 of Jouer's cult cream highlighters. 3 of these are permanent and 2 are limited edition for this palette.

The colours from left to right are :
1 - Camelia (Shimmering pale pearl)
2 - Tiare (Glistening gold)
3 - Champagne (Shimmering rose gold)
4 - Seashell (Shimmering shell pink) - Limited Edition
5 - Crystal (Iridescent Lavendar-pink) - Limited Edition

So far I have only used Camelia and Crystal as my skin is very fair, and I don't think the pictures do these colours justice. They look so pretty on and give me a lit from within glow.

As you can see in the above picture the packaging is the same as the original Jouer highlighters. You can slide these highlighters apart making them great for travelling as you don't need to take all 5 with you at once. You can also join them on to any other Jouer products you own meaning you can create your own palette.

Each of these highlighters are formulated using vitamin E, Japanese green tea and pomegranate extracts. This sounds so luxurious, but lets be honest, as most people will use these on top of their foundation I can't imagine these providing much of a skincare benefit. Either way it is nice to know we're putting good ingredients on to our skin.

The formula of these is so creamy. They are much creamier and glide on to the skin easier than the MAC cream highlighters for example. I am finding that these apply best with a damp beauty blender and give a gorgeous natural glow. If you want a really intense highlight these will look gorgeous topped with a powder highlighter. These are great to use on the high points of your cheekbones,  and as a nose and brow highlight. They also pretty on your cupids bow.

This set comes in at £35 which I think is great value for 5 highlighters. I purchased these on cult beauty, however this set is already sold out. You can however join the waiting list so I assume they plan on getting some more stock:
